프리즈 라이브 서울 2026의 일환으로 라이언 갠더 (Ryan Gander, b. 1976)의 참여형 공공미술 프로젝트 《더 파인드 서울(The Find Seoul)》이 서울 곳곳에서 펼쳐집니다. 영국 맨체스터에서 시작해 스페인 카세레스, 일본 오카야마에 이어 서울에서 네 번째로 선보이는 《더 파인드》는 작가가 제작한 한정판 코인을 도시 곳곳에 숨기고, 시민과 방문객이 이를 직접 발견하고 수집하는 프로젝트입니다. 서울에서는 SOLO/TOGETHER(혼자/함께), PAUSE/ACTION(멈춤/움직임), LISTEN/SPEAK(듣기/말하기) 세 종류의 코인을 만나볼 수 있습니다. 익숙한 화폐의 형식을 통해 갠더는 사물의 금전적 가치보다 관찰과 호기심, 발견을 통해 만들어지는 연결과 경험에 주목합니다. 곳곳을 탐색하며 발견한 순간을 #TheFindSeoul과 함께 SNS에 공유해 주세요!
As part of Frieze LIVE Seoul 2026, Ryan Gander’s (b. 1976) participatory public art project, The Find Seoul, will unfold across various locations throughout Seoul. First launched in Manchester, UK, The Find has since traveled to Cáceres, Spain, and Okayama, Japan, arriving in Seoul as its fourth edition. The project invites citizens and visitors to discover and collect limited-edition coins created by the artist and hidden throughout the city. Three types of coins will be available in Seoul: SOLO/TOGETHER, PAUSE/ACTION, and LISTEN/SPEAK. Drawing on the familiar form of currency, Gander shifts the focus from monetary value to the connections and experiences that emerge through observation, curiosity, and discovery. 코인은 아라리오뮤지엄과 아라리오갤러리 곳곳에 숨겨져 있습니다. 공간을 천천히 둘러보며 직접 찾아보세요. 코인을 발견했다면 자유롭게 가져가세요.
The coins are hidden throughout ARARIO MUSEUM and ARARIO GALLERY. Take your time exploring the spaces and see if you can find one yourself. If you discover a coin, feel free to take it with you.

The coins are not hidden inside the exhibition spaces. Look around the areas outside the galleries, including the ticketing area, courtyard, and hanok.
